The Practice of the Presence of God

Brother Lawrence said little that was new, and what he did say he repeated many times.

He said of himself “You will tell me that I am always saying the same thing: it is true, for this is the best and easiest method I know; and as I use no other, I advise all the world to it.”

What he said was plain and simple, and based on the first commandment of Jesus to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

Never out of print since it was first written well over 300 years ago, the Practice of the Presence of God is still a source of blessing for those who are serious about being disciples of Jesus.
